a short biography
More than just a guy with a camera.
With a photography resume that stretches back decades, I'm more than just a GWC (Guy With a Camera). From my early days covering local news and incidents for the American publication Wildland Firefighter Magazine, through to today, I have spent most of my life with a camera close by. As a stringer, freelancer, part-timer, full-timer or doing photography as part of another job, it has been my passion.
Although I am best-known as one of Australia's most popular football (aka soccer) photographers, I also have worked in news, editorial, forensic, portrait, glamour, art nude and wedding photography genres. I'm probably not the best bloke for your photography job, but I'll have a go at it.
I now divide my time between working as a freelance photographer, university lecturer & facilitator.
